Ranch 628 is a holistic ranching homestead in the Midlands of South Carolina. It’s ran by husband-and-wife team, Kelvin and Trish, and their children.

At our ranch we focus on raising strong, healthy, hardy, low maintenance goats. Our goats are perfect for those looking to get into Spanish goats with our starter herds, add to their existing herd, or those looking for environmentally friendly brush control.

Spanish goats are typically thought of as meat goats, but they’re so much more.

They are the perfect solution for those seeking a regenerative farming model. They’re aggressive browsers so wonderful in controlling over growth.

They can also make amazing pets, and if that is what you are looking for please plan ahead and let us know so that we can give extra attention to taming one all the way for you.

We have purchased several goats from Kelvin and Trish.
